This is such sad news although I think we were all thinking it may happen soon. At least Judy is at peace now...she went through so much.
My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

Thank you Kerry.
We all hold Judy close to our hearts. What a strong , brave, woman she was. She fought a noble battle.
I'm sure she is a peace now. Basking is God's glory.
My deepest condolences to your family, Judy. May God give them strength to heal.
So saddened by your loss, we celebrate your life, Judy.

I just recieved this from Judy's daughter, Stacy. I am sure she would like all our friends on CSN to reflect on her message of the passing of our dear friend.scouty said:I hate this disease. My thoughts and prayers are with her family. This gets so hard sometimes.

From Stacy;
As hard as it is for me to write this, my mother has went to be with the Lord. She passed away yesterday around 1:00. This past week has been a horrible week for her but they finally got her pain under control, then God took over from there. I wanted to update everyone and tell everyone hw much she loved and cared for all of you. I appreciate all of your support for her and all of your prayers. Services for those of you close will be at Calvary church of the Nazarene from 6-8 on Monday July 18th and the funeral will be Tuesday at 1:00 at the church as well. I will not be online for a while so if anyone has any questions Ill try to answer your emails when I am able to get back to normal routine. This is so difficult for me, and Im at a loss for words and pretty much everything right now. But again, thanks to all who loved her so much.
Stacy
I sit her at my desk in great sadness. The tears DO flow freely for a wonderfull friend. I have followed Judy's progress throughout her ordeal since her dx. I thank Stacy for corresponding with us when Judy was unable to do so during her difficult journey. This email from Stacy must have been very difficult for her. I am thankfull Stacy has the courage and strength to let us know.
Remember dear friends.......Judy is watching over us.

Even though we all knew that Judy was in hospice care, reading of her death is so sad. She went through so much; this disease really stinks. I'm grateful to her daughter Stacy for thinking of us and sharing the news of her death. Judy's faith was so strong, I'm sure she is resting in God's arms.
My sympathy to her family. the other Judy0 -
To Stacy and the rest of Judy's family (if you see this)--my heart goes out to you.
Just know that Judy was a big part of these boards. She leaves many friends among the semi-colon pals.
To us all.....I know how news like this affects me--sends me into an emotional tailspin in regards to mortality and the reality of this disease. It can happen to any of us.
I am thankful every day for all who come here. You are in my daily prayers.

Thank you for posting the chorus of one of my favorite, favorite hymms. I can never make it through the song being sung in church without tearing......I just love it so.
Cheers,

Even though I never met Judy, I felt close to her. She was a good friend who had such a rough time with this terrible disease. I will miss her alot. She was one of the first people I met on the internet while I was also struggling with this awful disease. She went through so much more and was so STRONG. I will keep her and her family in my prayers.

Thank you Kanga and Kerry
To Stacy and the rest of Judy's family...I am so sorry for your loss. Judy was and will remain an inspiration to me. She fought this disease with all she had. May you find comfort in the good memories that you share of a wonderful woman and know that she is finally at peace.

You know, the Semi-Colons have grown into a warm and inviting family. When one link of the chain is missing, all the others feel the impact of that loss.
This just confirms that life is full of challenges. We never know what tomorrow may bring. When one obstacle is overcome, another one surfaces. We all feel the pain and emptiness that accompanies the loss of a friend. The relationships we create here are far stronger than most of the people we physically see daily. Nothing can replace this.
Judy is in a much better place...her spirit can now rest.
