    See the yellow band on the Discovery Teams' jersey? I'm sewing one of those on my TaeKwonDo uniform. hehe

    Today's Team Time Trials were SOOOOO exciting!!

    GO DISCOVERY!!!

    Yeah I noticed the yellow bands. Very cool.

    Did 16.4 miles tonight Barb! Felt so good! Averaged 17 mph on the second half (no head wind). Nothing even close to what those guys do daily for three weeks!!! dang they are awesome athletes!!

    Go LANCE!

    Ok....so I'm an ozzie so you can't blame me for rootin for our guys but I gotta admit that I would not mind seeing Lance do it again.
    I felt really sorry for the yellow jersey guy(can't remember his name) that crashed just before the finish.....you really gotta feel for him!
    btw Em.......I did 170 klms on my motorbike today....does that count?????? .....lol!

    I didn't mean the spandex. I meant that you were still sitting in them after 16.4 miles in the saddle.

    Barb ( would those be shorts or shoes?)

    what? the pearls? shorts. The shoes are 12 yr old Nike bike shoes pre-clip-ins. Gotta love the old stuff! I still use toe clips. The thought of clipping myself to a tiny peddle gives me the hebbie-jebbies. HAve not yet progressed to that level. Arthur swears by them. My son uses them. I stick with my old stand-bys.

    oh yeah...the shorts were pretty stinky....but we had sat around the bonfire drinking wine and eating chips and salsa afterward and I had just got home and wanted to check in before hitting the hay. (of course I wasn;t drinking and I was eating black beans and onion salad).

    I get enough excersise with Jen around.......ok guys n gals.....minds outa tha gutta please..I was referring to all the housework I get to do!

    sure bring the kids the dogs the hubby why not?

    We already have 7 dogs 5 cats 4 kitties 2 bunnies 1 donkey 1 sheep 1 turtle and 1 stinky rat 1 husband 5 kids.....the more the merrier!
