Hey there, Deneen -
I was up at Lake George; Glenns Falls I believe was the name of the nearest town (about 40 minutes distant). Absolutely beautiful area up there - surprisingly warm (I think the locals were quite surprised!) A dip in the crystal clear waters of the lake put an abrupt end to that heat though!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SHRINKAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We opened the pool up 3 days ago. Hubby and I went in last night around 10. ( hmmmmm, didn't notice any shrinkage there??) Maybe, it's just...nah, I guess all guys get it every once in a while.
Elaine ( who is headed up to Granville this summer for an in-law visit) ( just a hop skip and a jump from Lake George)
When's the calender gonna be ready? Would you autograph it for me?0 -
Seems like I saw a sign for Granville...tkd3g said:George:

10? That's a little early isn't it? Hopefully the neighbors didn't catch some of that action on video tape!
Colondars will be out in September-ish. I'd be happy to autograph on fer ye! In fact a lot of the Colondar folks have expressed a real interest in coming to ColonPalooza II - come and maybe you can snag a bunch of autographs!!
Well, I'm off in search of a marbled rye bread...

Hey!!! I live near Pittsburgh. The Steelers helped me get through a horrendous time during chemo. I actually became borderline obsessed with them. And I hate football.Glv49 said:Hey SpongeBob, I just read your email about the Brown's and I just had to tell you that the Pittsburgh Steelers are the Best!! I live near Pittsburgh, and the Brown's are one of our biggest rivals.

Strange, but I love the Steelers too! I live in Maine so proximity has nothing to do with it! I found that Hockey got me through my surgery and recovery. I am definitely obsessed. Thank goodness it wasn't this year!Glv49 said:Hey Mjay, its a small world after all! I am a big Steeler fan. I love them all the time, even when they loose. I live south of Pittsburgh, where do you live?

I grew up in Cleveland... I have now blocked all of your Steelers fans from my e-mail delivery.jsabol said:As a former Pittsburgher, and a former Steelers fan, I have lived near Boston for the last (ummm, did somebody say...) 30 years, and I just have 3 words for you all...New England Patriots. Actually, probably the most touching thing I have ever seen was when Art Model was moving the Browns out of Cleveland... the last game the Browns played against the Steelers, all of the Steelers fans wore an orange ribbon. I liked the Steelers that day. Of course they beat the Brownies, so I felt justified in hating them again the next day...
Football season is just a few weeks away!

I live in the Albany area so I'm about 45 minutes away from where you were. We usually go up to Lake George a couple times during the summer. They have a great amusement park there (Great Escape)and once in October for a huge, town-wide flea market, antique show, garage sale, etc.0

I've never met a mild Steelers fan. Hey Sponger, did you say you were going to be Ms. July or Mr. July in the colander?
Hey Barb, you know they have all sorts of guizmos out there to watch "things" in the dark. Give them a real show the next time!!!!!

Who is a Redskins fan for pro football (now that Joe Gibbs is back, I don't like the Danny at all though) but mostly I am a North Carolina fan that doesn't care for Dookies or Wolfpackers.0 -
You are right about those Steeler fans... they can be a bit rabid. I can even say that about myself now. I lived outside Boston for 8 years so it was hard when it was down to the Pats or the Steelers. Well... a little hard... I wanted the Steelers to win but gently, not trouncing the Pats too hard. It certainly entertained me while laying around in the recliner too sick to move due to chemo. Now I am hooked and will watch every game this season.scouty said:I've never met a mild Steelers fan.
