hello all. i will be going in for a cat scan tomarrow for lungs ab and pelvic area. i will give you a recap of whats went on. i have 11 tumors in my left lung and 1 in the right as of feb and am no longer operable. at this point i have been off chemo since dec 17. they r giving my body a break. i am a little nervous about this test as i hope that all is stable and nothing has changed except of course some of this going away. i feel really good except for this cough i have had since march. I know the Lord is with me but these times are very trying. pleae know that i keep all of you in prayer even the ones that just read but dont post. have a great day. I have 2 children that r 6 and 8 and while i know it is a miracle i am still here i want to be rid of this as i know we all do. i am a fighter but sometimes the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.

Dear Nettie,
I am going for a PET scan tomorrow because I have something on my lung not visible 9 months ago. There are no cowards on this board, if we weren't scared spitless we wouldn't be normal people. I promise I will pray for you at exactly the moment I start the PET scan. Just like your body fighting the disease, sometimes your spirit could use a rest, too. I know when you get there you will be fighting just as hard as you have been up until now. Who could blame you for your fears? Good luck. I know we are all standing by you tomorrow.

You have my prayers daily.
Sometimes the burden just gets to be too much and that's when I am so glad that we all have each other on here.
Keep us posted and if you need a good book to give you hope these are two that inspired me:
A Cancer Battle Plan by Anne Frahm
When Hope Never Dies by Marlene McKenna
peace, emily who begs God daily for everyone's healing on here--really I do--every day. ....squeaky wheel gets the grease kind of thing.... :-)0 -
