Yep, that is the latest! Oct 25-28th, exact location unknown, as we really need to see how many rooms we could block together to get the best rate.Lisa Rose said:Hi ,

I just found out about Palooza 2. Unfortunately, I won't be able to attend. I'll be in Las Vegas this summer, but back home in Florida in October. Where was Palooza 1. Maybe Palooza 3 should be in Florida near Disney World. (That's where I live). Regards, Arlene (fandaj)0

That is a great question, about what a Palooza is...maybe this could qualify as a semi-colon-a-rama, kinda like the football-a-rama in high schools. A palooza is similar to a festival. Although, I do have a funny story to share...my brothers two young boys refer to their maternal Greek grandmother as "ya-ya," so being the witty person that I am, the year they had to spend summer vacation at her home, I made the boys t-shirts that said, "I survived Ya-Ya Palooza!"nanuk said:We probably need to put Palooza 2 in the Announcements Section Under "Upcoming Conferences and Events" w/ a e-mail contact..
BTW, whatsa Palooza ?
(ok, I guess you had to be there, although I AM laughing hysterically as I type this...!)
So, are you saying that you'll be there? I hope we have a great turn out. I'll be posting the hotel details tomorrow...
Stay tuned...

Are you suffering from CRS? We've already had this discussion.... ad nauseum, ya big palooka!
I bet if you did a search below for discussion threads that contained "palooza" or "palooka" you'd find it.

I did the work for you. Below is an excerpt
from our chat of March 2nd:
OK... for all of you folks who have lived sheltered lives; here's the genesis of the term "Colon-Palooza"... Perhaps you are familiar with the concert series "Lollapalooza" started in 1991 by Chris Farrell. It is a gathering of many top bands, circus acts, the strange and bizarre (definitely sounds like a gathering of semi-colons). Farrell conceived of the Lollapalooza festival in 1990 as a farewell tour for for the band Jane's Addiction. The name Lollapalooza means "something outstanding or unusual"; Farrell heard the word in a Three Stooges short film and liked the sound.0 -
Hey sponge Bob, take it easy on me (if I am the Bud you were referring too) you miss a couple days on this board and your messages get far behind. I did search for Palooza got one hit and it didn't have any info, but I am still looking forward to the ginko in the mail as I sure could use it. I heard how much fun Palooza I was and don't want Tim who is the semi-colon or me the cargiver to miss out on II, I'll probably ask again what was the question? Thanks for keeping this board fun and lively. Louise from Port Richey Florida I vote for an Orlando Palooza III too.spongebob said:Bud -
