Had Breast MRI last week. Radiologist says it could be beningn breast calcifications, pre-cancerous or DCIS. Have call out for my medical oncologist but waiting for a call back. Anyone have any experience with this. Original CA diagnosis was May 03; I'm suppose to have TRAM reconstruction this month but afraid this might be a problem.

Did you have a partial mastectomy, or lumpectomy? Have you already undergone radiation?
I would have calcifications removed (not just biopsied) before your TRAM flap reconstruction.0 -
They found some calcification near my scar from where my port was for the chemo treatments when I had a mammogram done. I had to have a needle biopsy and it was fine. But I decided to have another mastectomy because I did not want to go through this everytime I had a mammogram on that breast.
