LOTS OF QUESTIONS???

My 86 year old grandmother just had her kidney removed this evening, the Dr. came and said it has spread to a lymphnode that could not be removed due to excessive bleeding, he mentioned her age had nothing to do with it, my dad thinks she may only have 3-6 months to live. Is this true??
