Hey SusanAnne:
So happy that you've got this final part of the reconstruct process behind you now!!!! Congrats!
I think that calls for a celebration. Knowing you though, you've got that covered! LOL
Having had lumpectomy, I've not experienced this process. Know several ladies who've had it though and they love it. Another friend had the "graft" nipple, with aerola tattoed, which she also loves. No one experienced any problems healing and had no complications with either procedure and are STILL quite happy with the results (several years later). Hope that's encouraging to you. I'm sure that in about 10 days you'll be seeing the colour well and much of the healing will be done. Just take really good care of the skin per your docs instructions.
Again, congrats on those "final touches"!
Love, light and laughter,

Hi Ink. Thanks for your comments. The recovery from the tattoo is actually taking longer than I expected even though I've been following the docs instructions to the tee. I go back on Tuesday so we'll see what he says. Anyway, yes, my husband and I are planning a little getaway to a bed and breakfast soon. I have an appointment with my GYN this week so the trip will be planned after I find out when I can schedule the ovary removal. Hope all is well with you.inkblot said:Hey SusanAnne:
