Its official. I am the nuttiest fruitcake in the bunch. I spotted a flower yesterday and grabbed my camera to take a picture. I took several. To compound the madness I made a contribution to the expressions gallery. The Gallanthus Snowdrop belongs to Bob and Sue (bsrules)
I am so excited to see a blossom in that dormant garden. For the last month I have been poking around in the leaves muttering to the lazy little buggers like a psychotic squirel.
Emily's Blueberry Ripple tulips are popping up early - can't keep them down.
Some naughty hyathinths are waking up also. Just the purple ones.
Not expected until July; the Starship Enterprize lily is making its way up through the dirt at warp speed.
The Champagne Elegance iris is the picture of restraint. We can expect no less of this polite plant chosen for Kerry.
Even Scouty's Hot Lips tulips and the Booogie Woogie trumpet lilies (named for guess who?) are behaving themselves for now. Must be resting after their pre-lenten bash.

    Happy spring! I'm going to Tucson next week to celebrate my end of chemo and am looking forward to seeing the desert bloom--I know it's early, but they've been getting a lot of rain.

    Flowers have been one of the mainstays of my life appreciation over the past few months. Enjoy!

    Oh how I anticipate seeing a sign of spring- it is snowing again in the good old frozen north of Canada- yuk!

    Hi Asp,

    We are all ready for spring, fresh new life, new beginnings and lots of hope for bright futures. Your photos always bring a smile to me. Keep snapping away. I can't wait to see my flower in full bloom. Hopefully I will be finished with my chemo in March and maybe, just maybe my flower will be showing signs of a brand new life also.

    You alwalys amaze and amuse me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

    Wow even the thought of flowers popping up through our three feet of snow is so foreign! I just went snowshoeing this morning and no way could any tulips even attempt an early arrival. So with joy I will vicariously enjoy your photos!!
