Hi Kelli, I too am from Ga! I have just finished up on my treatments for breast cancer. You might want to check with the health department in your county too. Talk to your hospitals social services also. My heart goes out for you and your family.1rockinhippy said:Hi bluebirdlover!Thank you for more roads to go down, i most definatally check out the Cancer treatment center of America! also linc... do you know their website address? i know it's probaly pretty easy !!!!!:> .when i contact C.C.T.of AMERICA,i will try to talk to donna who should i say put me in contact with her? my name is kelli, very nice to meet you! i live in GA.What kind of cancer did / have ? my mom is the one who is going through b.c. if i can be of any support i will be glad to offer any!!!! Hi Rockinhippy, Does your state have Charity Care hospitals offer this. They pay for hospital visits and clinic visits. How about the P.A.D.D. program for prescriptions( they let you pay 5 dollars for medications) I know every state is different but check these programs out. They maybe under different names in Ga. Hi Kelli,
Since your parents are disabled, is there a way to get them on Disability, or State Health Insurance like Medicaid? Also try to get them on Medicare. Then ask around for state reimbursed cancer centers, such as the Comprehensive Cancer Centers in Universities. Sometimes they take people that have little $$ since they are reimbursed by the Gov't. Hope this helps.
