I had the honor of getting a couple of interesting phone messages yesterday. Turns out Arnold Schwarenegger AND Forest Gump BOTH showed up for the 1st Semi-Annual Semi-Colon-Palooza festivities! I was jealous as I laughed HYSTERICALLY at the message I got. Due to my son's basketball game, I wasn't able to attend the bash.

HOWEVER...rumor has it a trip to Vegas is in the works for late September/early October. I believe with careful planning, the outcome can be HUGE! It really sounded as though Bob, "the Lisas," and Andy were having a terrific time...very well deserved!

Can't wait for fall now!

    I too spoke to those semi-colons attending the 1st Semi-Annual Semi-Colon Palooza! How jealous I am............... So glad you guys and gals had such a great time. Wish I could have been there - but I am still on my chemo cocktail. I will be there in Oct. at the Las Vegas fun fest. Set a date!!

    SB gets a new assignment soon and we want to make sure he can make it. The timeframe will be somewhere between the last week of September and first week of November (but not the Canadian Thanksgiving (October 10th) or around Halloween).

    SB will let us know as soon as he does. We did decide to have the next one in a place where everyone can stay in the same hotel. We felt badly that SB wasn't able to enjoy it as much as he could have.

    BTW, his toilets were very clean!!!! AND the man can cook too!!!!! A wonderful host!!!!!

    Look for my post about what I learned during the weekend. It will be very hard to put into words but I will try.

    Yes, mom, I paid her $5 to say that about my toilets. She added the part about me being able to cook on her own. I guess she's trying to help me find a girlfriend.

    BTW, scouty, I probably could have imbibed a bit more had I not been the designated driver, but I couldn't have had a better time than hanging out with you, Lisa1 and AndyMan.

    Looking forward to a repeat performance come October!

    he! he! ..you realise Lisa that the only reason tha toilet was clean was because little"kanga lifesaver" has a video cam in him n Bob had to do a clean sweep thru the place!!!!!
    Cook???????.....you mean you actually ate the stuff he has had in tha refigerator since he left on his last voyage?????

    Hi Ya S.B. This is Amy and soooo gald ya'll had such a wonderful time! I have a sister who lives in Vegas & is always buggin me to Visit, now with a possible Semi-Colon Convention I will go! Plus I'll be done w/ stuff by then & ready to hang out w/ new friends, These wonderful, awesome people in this discussion forum I have grown to love, Just need to chat alittle more. I've been off the puter latly, Thanks for the fun updates of your guests & all, but how do I find the site w/ pics or your Gallery? Let me know.     Kanga,

    Look for a photo of little "kanga lifesaver" in his spot to keep an eye on all the happenings. He ended picking the most exciting spot .....perched on SB's headboard of his bed!!!!! I think the heat may have melted the camera though!!!!!
