Home Again, but.......

I am home from the hospital again, but already things are not working again. I was vomiting during the night. I have talked to the surgeon and I am trying to get things working without a trip back to the hospital. Please pray that things start moving, i don't know how much more I can take. Thanks again for all your suppoert.

    Hiya Maureen. I am so sorry that you are having such a hard time of it. I guess you are still refering to the blockage that you suffered. I had the very same thing but it was prior to my surgery and found it very painfull. I really hope that you are able to overcome it Maureen. There are so many complications with this crazy disease I thinkvery few of us get thru unscathed without something testing us to the limit. Hang in there sweetie----another bridge to cross.

    Hi Maureen, sorry to hear you are still having problems....I am sure it will be sorted soon but meanwhile you must be very uncomfortable. I guess your body has to adjust to changes in equipment. Keep posting to let us know how you are doing.

    Maureen, my husband, Scott, was in the hospital almost 3 weeks for surgery due to small bowel obstruction from scar tissue. He could not stop vomiting either, and they would not let him go home until he did. His surgeon had him on Morphine, then oxicotin & valium for pain. His oncologist told him go off pain meds so that your bowels will start working again. In the morning he stopped all pain meds, by evening he was having bowel movements and not throwing up.
