Hi Karen........You have been through a lot, but I am sure it has all made you much stronger. I am a survivor of 4-1/2 years, and thank God everyday for my extended life. My whole outlook on life has changed and I am sure this has happened to you also.
My prayers are with you and keep that positive attitude that you have and you will get through it all. I appreciate friends and will be here for you if you need anything.

Hi Karen!
I'm new too ) I'm hazel marie and maybe you've seen the short story about me on the next page. I'm glad to talk with someone with a long history, you give all of us hope! Thank you for getting my spirits up. I'm normally and very upbeat and positive, I might have the winter blahs right now, along with too much pain from the Arimidex. It's been along time for you, battling this monster. In many ways, we have all been blessed, we never have an ordinary day, and surely make every effort to derive happiness from every source. Keep the faith girl, and stay in touch.

Hi, I'm new to the website also. I am now six months into taking Tamoxifen and having a lot of all over body swelling. The "team" is trying to figure this out with me. Ended chemo six months ago and am still exhausted. Trying to work, going to physical therapy, and keeping up with Drs appts is plenty-forget the housework. Any suggestions other than eating cucumbers? Yes, that was one suggestion. Anyone ever have trouble getting up out of a sitting position? Ear ringing--it is great when I actually notice a few minutes of quiet. Weight gain-enough is enough. Time to go in the opposite direction.
Not complaining as it could be a lot worse. Count our blessings.0 -
