I just returned home from treatment at MD Anderson. I had a CT scan on Monday (Jan 10) and then took my chemo on Jan. 12. I just have to say Hooray - my CT results were great. About 4 tumors are gone (as in disappeared). No nodes showing in my pelvic area, the nodes in my neck are gone and the one near my liver is gone. The ones in my abdomen have shrunk over 50% - and this is after only 2 treatments of Oxaliplatin and Zeloda. The doctors think I will only have to take my treatment for 4 months now and then go on a maintenance program. I'm not sure what the maintenance program is yet, but I'm on cloud nine right now. Just had to share.
All of you are in my prayers always. I have felt your prayers and kind thoughts through all of this and I am very greatful.

Dear Kerry,
Just today you were on my mind and I was so hoping that things were going well for you. Your results are fantastic. It sounds like the recovery road is getting shorter and shorter.
When you feel up to it, give me a call and we will have our own Semi-colon reunion in Austin since we both can't make it to the official site.
May your healing continue.
