nit, it all depends on what your oncologist has planned. If this is your first time with the almight breast cancer, they will probably due chemotherapy and radiation. It also depends on if your lymph nodes are involved, the stage of the cancer and if no lymph were involved, were the margins of surgery clean. Discuss all of your concerns with your Oncologist. I have had bc three times, so I know from whence I speak. If you have any other questions, let me know. Otherwise talk to Dr. and come back here so all who are here ( and the people here are full of knowledge) can help you walk on this journey .0

usually it's about 6 months (ev. 3 wks. of chemo) and the oral drug Tamoxifen. If you want to talk to me about it, please write chinablue33@hotmail.com. I have had breast cancer, mastectomy, chemo, oral drugs, a second breast cancer, radiation, more cancer meds., and still going strong. age 56. Love, Kate0
