Help! Scalp issues!

My hair is growing back and my scalp is full of bumps. I don't know if this is just dryness needing moisturizing, or hair follicles beginning to produce some new growth. Anyone else have this? My hair is about 1/4" long now. Will it take several months for it to look decent enough without a wig??? Thanks for any advice!

At the end of my chemo treatments I had red bumps that would come up on my scalp, they would be real sore for a few days then they would go away only to have them in another spot. I asked the nurse about it she said it was probably the hair follicle. They eventually went away.
I shampooed and moisturized my head everyday even though I had no hair. I have curly hair now about shoulder length. I finished chemo 23 Dec. 2003. I go to oncologist tomorrow for results of my 1 year blood work. wish me luck.I had mastectomy in Aug 2003
Best of luck to you,
