Hi everyone, Hope you're doing well. I was really busy today. I went to the new urologist and I really liked him. Problem is, he kinda referred to me that my rectal cancer would be hard to cure. I was very upset afterwards. I've having the CT Scans and ultrasound of my head and echocardigram on Wednesday next week. He wants me to have a cystoscopy on Thursday. I'll have to be put to sleep. He wants to see how bad radiation has damaged my bladder and if there is any spasing left to it. I'm getting more nervous and frustrated by the day. Husband still has no job prospects either.PLEASE, PLEASE PRAY FOR US!!!

Your continued battle with the many ways this illness affects us- not just physically but in all ways including psychologically and socially in our relationships with others and areas such as money and work- is not going to be an easy one and there are no real answers that I can offer that would truly be any consolation to yo. All I can offer are my best wishes and the fact I think of you often.
Let us know how things progress and keep believing that things will improve,

I am sorry I missed your last post Judy. As my son works for me there are times I have to go awol to help him and miss some posts but still always try to read the posts. Trouble is our time differences mean my replies are usually at the last of the threads--I really hope they get read. I am sad to hear of your continued troubles Judy--what can I say?Kanort said:Yes, Judy, keep your faith and know that things will become more manageable and, hopefully, much better!

Judy, Bert and I will continue to pray for you. We've been in similar situations...granted not dealing with cancer at the same time, but loss of jobs coupled with other things and I know these stresses can really wear you out. Remember, there is a light at the end of the tunnel and God truly does not give out more than each of us can handle...even if we don't think so at the time. Look at me...I would have never dreamed that I'd be dealing with two people that mean the world to me having cancer at the same time. Oh there are indeed days when I want to pull my hair out and scream, but they pass...and so will this time for you. As far as your urologist goes, I'm happy to hear that you like him but he's not the expert on colon cancer so don't let him get you down. He's expressing an opinion, not in the greatest of taste I might add, but nevertheless, just an opion. Keep the faith and keep strong.
Hugs,
