alternatives
It's been awhile since I've posted hope some might remember me. I have stage IV colorectal cancer and was in remission, but the cancer has re-curred. I was due to have a colostomy take-down when blood tests and cat scans revealed tumors in the lining of my stomache. I have recieved two treatments of 5 FU and leucorivin and astivin has been added this time.
Anyway, my question....has anyone heard of Dr Lorraine Day and her regiment? I have her literature, but would like to hear word of mouth if anyone has benefited from this. It's a purely natural diet, excercise, prayer kind of option. Any feedback on this would be helpful. If you don't want to post here, email me please.
Thanks
Rita

Glad to hear from you, but sorry it's under your present circumstances. No info to pass along, but there are some semi-colons who are really tuned into the homeopathic regime. Hopefully you'll hear from them soon.
In the mean time, know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

YES YEAS YES!!!!
I have heard of Dr. Day, watched her videos, recommended her website many times and BELIEVE in what she does!!!
You may not remember but I'm the alternative chick around here. I did not do any chemo for my stage 3 colon pymph pos zero mets three years ago. Still alive and never been healthier.
I did much of what she expounds....detoxing, juicing, veggie diet, all organics....but I also did lots of stuff that she pooh-poohed as unnecessary. But it's a learning process.
Right now I reading The Makers Diet by Jordan Rubin which would be a good follow-up to Dr. Day. I use products by Dr. Rubin in my daily regimen.

he healed his "incurable" Crohns disease (intestinal disease) years ago and now is a man with a mission....

hope this helps

I remember you too and the encouraging words you provided me when I first joined last July 2003 when Bert was diagnosed stage III, node involvement. I wish to pass those words on to you know. I am so sorry that this happened but hey, it's just a bump in this cancer road that we all travel...nothing that you can't get around. Please stay in touch and keep us posted. Bert is doing real fine. Has been NED for 15 months. Praying real hard that he stays that way. Scans scheduled for October 28 with results in November 4. Needless to say, I'm a little anxious again, much more so than Bert, but I know now that I will get through this and will be able to share nothing but GOOD NEWS.
God by with you.
Hugs,

Thank you so much for the encouragement. I'm glad to hear Bert is doing well.
I'm having bloodtests tomorrow and hope the CEA'S are going down. But? I fuigure, this is just a minor setback that will make the victory even sweeter.

Hi Rita....last year I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer, and I had colon reconstructive surgery and chemo and I stopped it after 4 sessions because it's poison. It not only compromises your immune system, but it shuts down the bone marrow and leaves a person wide open to other diseases and in some of the chemotherapy drugs, they actually put formaldehyde in it. I did a lot of research and I went to a Gary Null seminar, he is wonderful and if you get the chance read his book: Power aging. I found the answer to my prayers in numerous ways, I went the holistic route and I am now cancer free. What state are you in? I am in Michigan, but I can tell you about one of the 3 holistic supplements that I take, it is called: Essiac Tea and it is obtainable thru a company in Colorado, this "tea" alone with get rid of your cancer, I guarantee it! If you are interested you can let me know and i'll tell you where you can get it. I do know that changing your diet to an organic one, will help tremendously. Let me know and i'll help all I can. Good Luck....June, my member name here is: JunieMe.0

You mean I have another ally in here???
I was Stage 3 lymph pos zero mets colon ca and only went the holistic route--said no to chemo from the get-go. Have been cancer free for three years now.
I also did Essiac Tea among a hundred other things (ok slight exaggeration).
What else do you take?
Have you ever heard of Perfect Food by Garden of Life? I put that in my carrot juice and love it. Also did mushrooms and Chinese Herbs. What was your protocol?
Sorry to hijack the thread......but I am thrilled to meet you!
LOOK OUT SB!!

Hi Emily.....I also use a product that is initally enzymes along with silver water, (created by a shaman that I met in April) he has been cancer free for 18 years since he developed them. They are caps that I take with the water and that alone gets rid of it as well. There is another supplement called: Cell Food, they are drops that you put in water and drink thru out the day, it just tastes like lemon water. What it does is speed up the cancer cells and since they are a low energy cell, they die off when speeded up as do the tumors. I also drink a good PH balance water and PH supplements too, along with a good organic diet, no white sugars, or white flours and nothing with preservatives, (they cause cancer) and no hydrogenated oils. Fruits and veggies, basically is what i eat, and fish once in awhile. Nice to talk to another believer in holistic healing, where are you from by the way?2bhealed said:JunieMe!!

how did you decided on what you used? In all my research there is so much out there, ie, Rife, macrobiotics, raw foods, pH balancing, enzymes, juicing, Traditional Chinese Medicine (and all that goes with it...acupuncture, herbs...etc), Kelley, Hoxsey, Essiac Tea, colloidal silver, etc etc etc.
So do you watch your pH? Do you not do grains? I have run out of testing paper but was dilligent for a couple years.
I take digestive enzymes called Parazyme but am switching to a product made by Garden of Life. Will see how that does.
How long have you been on the boards here?

Hey there, Emily. I just caught the infomercial for Dr. Day on another sleepless night last night and it looked pretty good to me. Of all the internet surfing and reading I have been doing, she seemed to touch on every subject I believe in. Is the video worth the investment?2bhealed said:YES YEAS YES!!!!
