Hey my semi-colon crew!
I am very excited about a new book I am reading and of course I have to share it with y'all cuz that is my reason for living ya know...haha.
The Makers Diet by Jordan Rubin
As many of you know I promote a green powder that I put in my carrot juice called Perfect Food by Garden of Life. I have tried most green powders on the market and I have come to love this one the best.
DISCLAIMER: I get NO, NONE, NOTTA monetary reward for this plug.
Anyway this guy Jordan was dying of severe Crohn's disease and tried everything until he started eating this way (that he talks about in the book).
Now there are plenty of diets out there that can heal cancer and they work for some (I think 30% cure cancer with macrobiotics) and there's the raw foods diet, the Halleluiah Diet and I tell you about the ones I know because out of some there has to be something that will work for your particular situation. So now here is another.
The thing that makes this guy different in my book is his EXPLANATION why we need to eat to live and what nutrients do and what a lack of nutrients does to create imbalances and disease.
He goes in depth on our colon needs since his disease was a colon disease. So it really pertains to all of us too.
So check it out. I am in the middle of it but didn't want to wait to share this...you know me....
Just know I do this because I care about us and our health. It's been three years of survival for me and I still have not taken my nose outta the books yet.....and I'm still learning.
peace, emily who should have a PhD by now or a discount at Barnes and Noble haha! :-)

Thanks so much for sharing all your knowledge! I have heard of this book but I havent bought it yet, however, I will this weekend. I also read some of the cancer plan and I found that they have a workbook with this as well. We are all just trying to do the best we can and sharing our experiences and wisdom is the greatest gift. I just wish I could get myself better disciplined.
Well love ya Emily and thanks again
