Update on Bob
Bob is hanging in there. He has a couple of good days and then he is exhausted for 2 to 3 days later. His spirits are so so. He gets down when he just doesn't have the energy to get up. I tell him to sleep there is tomorrow. He still has his fighting attitude!!!! That is always a good sign!!!
We are heading to Fox Chase tommorrow afternoon. He is looking forward to going but worried as he is afraid of what they are going to say. He doesn't like the idea of going down for a consulation rather he wants them to do something!!! As he has been off chemo and with all that he was on before with no luck he said that he can't fight this if they are not going to do anything. I tell him to stay positive and take one day at a time. As I also told him that this time last year they said that he wouldn't be here. He has such mixed emotions and sometime I don't know what to tell him.
I will post as soon as I can to let all of our new friends that have listened to me rant for the last year. THANK YOU ALL for all that you guys have done and are still doing for us!!!!
Please keep Bob in your prayers!!!
Thank You!!!
Sue

Ahoy, Sue & Bob -
So, which classic ride will you be driving to Fox Chase? Be careful if you take the Scout - I hear some lady blew it up a couple months ago...
Sue, you might consider communicating Bob's notion about "not figting if they won't give him some form of treatment" to his oncologist. Off-line. Without him [Bob] around.
You are doing good things for him by hilighting his success thus far and motivating him toward a successful end-game. Have you considered trying some of Emily's treatment regime? What about Essiac tea? You kow, you can provide Bob some "treatment" that has documented success even if his doctors won't/can't. Try the naturopathic plan - it has worked for many and it will give Bob the "treatment" he wants to keep himelsf motivated to fight the dragon.
Take care and know you both remain in my thoughts.

Hello There Guys!!! It is always good to hear from you. Bob fixed the scout and he told me to take it easy next time and I told him to take some of his own advise. We took my 99 Yukon, to many crazy drivers and traffic in the city for me. I would never forgive myself if I put a dent in one of his special wheels. I know if I cook them he can fix them it is too much work to fix a dent. We are still in limbo as far as what they will do next. It will depend on the new blood work and his 2 doctors to decide if he is stronge enough to qualify for the experimental phase of drug treatments. So needless to say we have no answers.spongebob said:Ahoy, Sue & Bob -
