Hi All,

I finally got a web page written.

I just received the pathology report from my follow up colonoscopy done last week. Cancer Free!!! My gastroenterologist doesn't want to see me for five years. I think that is a little long, but I will discuss it with my oncologist when I see him on Wednesday. When my colonoscopy was done last week, my gastro doctor said that he bioposied the "flakes" around my colon resection. I never had heard of that being done, so, of course, I fretted about it over the weekend. However, now that I know all is well, I'm glad that he thouroughly checked me out!

Hopefully, my oncologist will schedule my PET and CT scans soon and they will, too, be OK. Then I will be able to get my Groshong Catheter out because it is bothersome.

    Just had a new recliner brought into the survivors room for yah!!!!
    Have you submitted your webpage yet?--I tried a search and could not find you?--is it under Kanort?

    You're a NEDETTE! Re: flakes around your resection - that'll teach you to eat granola the night before a scope.

    Flakes, eh? Never heard of that either.

    One time the doc had to abort my colonoscopy--too many sunflower seeds still stuck in the tubes. haha. I had barfed up most of the clean out stuff......oh well.

    Hi Kay,

    So glad to hear the news. I am in Austin about 4 days a week now, so we should meet for lunch sometime and "really put a face" to our correspondence. Since I will be moving there soon, we'll share docs, and other stuff.
