Prayers, once again, Please

Hi everyone, I haven't been on for awhile. I'm back for more prayers. They diagnosed the return of my breast cancer(which had spread into the Plurel Cavity) 18 months ago. I have had a lot of back pain. The family doctor said that I have severe osteoporosis and put me on meds for that, plus she ran a bunch of tests. She also said that I have Lupus and Scleraderma(sp)in my body but that it is dormant.

Last Saturday I went thru E.R. for severe back pain. The Dr. that was working sent me for a chest x-ray. He told me that he felt that the cancer has spread to my lung and my bone. He gave me two shots of demerol and put a morphine patch on me before sending me home that night(guess ya know, I slept good that night). He ordered a bone scan which I went in and had yesterday. Today my family Dr. called and said that I have a swelling by one of my kidneys and she wants to see me right away, of course, her nurse didn't call until after office hours so I can cry about it all night.

Don't know why I am here except I know I need prayers and someone to listen to me and this is a good place to go for that.

    Dear Cinder, Sorry you are going through such a bad time. Bad times don't last, I promise. I also have bone and lung mets. As you have already found out, there is pain medication and other treatment options available to you. You don't have to live in pain! God has not forgotten or abandoned you and neither will we! No matter how bad it seems, there is hope. I was struggling with back pain from bone mets for several months, but am now off pain meds and feeling better thanks to radiation. It sounds like your doctors are trying to get on top of this. Write down questions, take someone with you and consider all your options. For awhile there, it seemed like every time I went to the doctor, they found more cancer! It was scary, but God gives you the strength and the people you need to get through. My prayers are with you.

    I TOO HAVE ALOT OF BACK PAIN-MY FAMILY DOCTOR SAYS IT'S OSTEOARTHRIDIS(SP) MY CHIROPRACTOR SAYS IT'S PROBABLY A PINCHED NERVE-MY INS CO SENT ME A LETTER SAYING I HAD INJURED MY BACK AT WORK.I'VE HAD X=RAYS THEY SAY EVERYTHING LOOKS FINE-I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO THINK-ALL I KNOW IS THAT I CAN'T STAND FOR LONG OR WALK A DISTANCE WITHOUT THE SIDES OF MY LEGS GOING COMPLETELY NUMB AND MY LOWER BACK JUST THROBS AND BURNS,I GET RELIEF SOMEWHAT WHEN I SIT DOWN.

    IT SOUNDS LIKE YOUR DOCTORS ARE ON TOP OF THINGS-I SURE HOPE WHAT EVER IT IS THAT THEY CAN CONTROL IT AND GET RID OF IT.IT'S A TERRIBLE THING TO BE IN PAIN ALL THE TIME-MY PRAYERS AND THOUGHTS ARE WITH YOU WHILE YOU GO THROUGH THIS.TRY TO BE STRONG AND KEEP YOUR FAITH.     Cinder, I'm sorry to hear about the trouble you're going through. I'm adding you to my prayers that you will find relief from your pain and brighter days ahead. I'm new to all this, and am just beginning my treatment for breast cancer. Keep the faith.

    Hi Cinder My Prayers are with you. I know about getting a dx at the wrong time. My Primary Doctor was on vacation while I went crazy waiting for him to come back. I got my bad news from his covering doctor that really didn't know how to tell me direct. 5 days was a life time for me-smile. Keep the faith you have made it this far and God will carry you the rest. Never ever give up. Livin

    Cinder, This is my first time on here and I saw your message from last year. I was diagnoised with reacurring breast cancer last November. It is in my bones(skull, spine, ribs, collarbone and shoulders). Also in my overies and most likely my lungs. Please let me know your still around, I need to hear something good. Please.
