hello all. hope all of you are doing well. i just ask that you keep me and my family close in prayer as i found out on fri that i will once again have to have my lungs operated on. i am working on ins right now trying to get all that out of the way as we prepare to make the trip to mayo once again. i am shocked but as always i will pull thourgh this. i will be getting a scan on fri and will let you know how that goes. in the meantime all of you stay well and know that you are thought about by me everyday. this is one of the tuffest surgs i can think of and i am in about the shape of a good tub of lard although i know it has its uses. you all take care thanks for listening.

Hi nettie,
I will send every positive thought your way, in this rough time. You are a fighter, don't you forget that!

Oh nettie, I am soooo sorry. I have been thinking of you and wondering what mayo said.... you are constantly in my thoughts and prayers. My heart sunk when I read your title.
FYI: my surgeon told me fat helps the body heal, so "tub of lard" has its purpose.
Hang in there. We are all pulling for you. Your positive attitude is amazing. We all know how tough this is.
What surgery are you getting? I had a thoracotomy which removed 5 wedge sections in my right lung. It wasn't nearly as bad as what I expected, but I don't know what you will be getting.
lots of love, jana0 -
I will certainly keep you and your family in my prayers, as I do everyone on this board. Just stay tough and be positive that this will take care of things. I know it's hard when you're facing surgery, as I had 3 within one week and one a month later. So....I know it's hard. Love ya and praying hard.
Love and prayers, Judy(grandma047)0
