My name is Holly Smith. I am the daughter of a 4&1/2 year breast cancer survivor-Jane Blackburn. On Monday, September 6, 2004, my mother lost her battle. Over the past few months she had been unable to post messages; but she did try to keep up with those whom she "spoke" with on-line earlier. I just wanted to let you all know and to wish each of you strength and courage thru what is surely the most difficult time in your lives. Mama was the strongest and bravest person I know and she never stopped fighting for us. She will always be with me. Thank you

    Dear Holly,
Please accept my heart felt condolences. I do remember your mom posting a few times since I've been on this message board. I recall admiring the name, HollyTraci. Thank you so much for thinking of us and letting us know. As you, I also believe that she will be with you always, watching over you and sending you love, just in a different form now. Take good care of yourself, Susan

Holly, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. Over the last few months, I felt as if I knew her. She shared so much of the love she felt for you and the grandchildren and your sister you lost earlier. Have you had that new baby yet? She was so looking forward to the new grandchild. We had so much in common, particularily the love and devotion of our children and grandchildren. I don't know how I could have got through this without my family and I know she felt the same about you.

My deepest sympathy in your loss. I know she will always be with you.

    Dear Holly,
I too am sorry to hear of your loss. I knew your mom from here, we shared a few emails. I know how much she loved you as evidenced by her name, a combination of you and your sister's names. If you want copies of our correspondance email me at tbyrd2@sbcglobal.net
Most of her notes spoke of you and the grandchildren. I don't think she'd mind me sharing with you. She loved you a lot and was most concerned about hurting you.
God bless you and give you strength and peace.

    Hello Holly,

I am so sorry for the loss of your Mom. Before my Mother died, she looked me straight in the eyes and said "Honey, there ARE such things as Guardian Angels, and I am going to be YOUR GUARDIAN ANGEL." She knew exactly what she was saying to me. I hope that you know that you too have your own Guardian Angel now, your wonderful Mom. The bond of love between a Mother and Child goes on forever. May God and time ease your pain, and hopefully you will realize that your Mom is watching over you.

    Sincerely,
    DoubleKnot
