Hi, this is day one for me and after looking around a bit i find it Very-Supportive more so then "other" site's.
I do have renal cell cancer stage 3 advanced and
i find it very hard dealing with all of life's little problems was frist Dx'd in 11-1999 and am
still fighting and am not going to give-in i beleive the more support one has the better off
we are but the key is all mental of how strong
we all are willing to fight this thing.
Just thought to add my two cents worth

THE CANCER WAS SELF CONTAINED AND I AM ALIVE AND I LIVE IN FEAR THAT I HAVE SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE TO BOTH KIDNEY AND A HALF I HAVE LEFT FROM LONG TERM USE OF ANTI INFLAMMATORIES. I WILL BE LATER ON IN LIFE A TRANSPLANT RECIEPIENT. KEEP POSITIVE , WE ALL HAVE THAT FEAR OF ( IT ) COMING BACK.0

Could you emphasize a little more on the therapies you are using. I too was diagnoses stage1-2. The doc said that there was no reason for furhter treatmetn because it would not be effective if the cance spread. I want so bad for him to keep an open k=mind a look into therapies like you doctor did for you. Could you share a little mor info on what your doc reccomends for you? Laura A.PhilipK1 said:Allan,
There is good work going on in immunotherapgy and RCC/Kidney Cancer. There a few vaccines that are in various stages of clinical trials. You might consider it now or down the road. I am on stage 1, and am doing a trial.
