5PM Friday-I'm home and feeling well. Was in and out of the hospital in a total of about 3 hours, minus a small growth on my vocal cords. Julie Andrews had the same surgery, and only lost an octave; maybe we'll be able to do a new duet and call it the lower sound of music..

So far only a sore throat, and I can talk without difficulty, although not supposed to do much of that for a few days.(thank God for e-mail)

Doc won't have any biopsy results until after Tuesday, and no IMRT results until further scans
in 6 & 12 weeks. Meanwhile, Bud sits at home eating popsicles and telling everyone how difficult his recovery has been.

    Glad you are feeling well, Bud. Sending you good healing vibes ((((((((())))))))).

    I would love to be sitting down eating an ice pop. This darn Oxyplatin won't let me have anything cold!! Meanwhile my kids and husband walk around with ice cream and italian ices all day. UGH!!

    Barb: I dunno how to heat a popsicle, but I guess you could..I heated everthing to avoid that cold

    Barb!!!!!Wouldn't recommend chucking an popsickle in tha nuke machine either!!!!--lol

    Bud and Kanga... now what would Emily say if she knew I was so hard up for an sugar filled ice pop, that I had to melt it and drink it warm?

    I think I'll pass on that one!!
