One year down and . . .

Hello to all!! I am a one year survivor. I finished my chemotherapy a year ago. Since that time I have retired and am looking forward to beginning a new chapter in my life. I got a very good report from the dr. at my last visit and that was a great relief. My energy level is coming back to normal and I have my priorities in the right place. God bless everyone at this site that helped me during this BC fight. I hope you know how much of a blessing you are to everyone in the throws of this battle with breast cancer. We had our Relay for Life last weekend and it was great to share my story with other survivors. I thank God and all of my friends and co-workers for all their love and support. I still hear people say I had a positive attitude during the whole time. I really didn't, but God gave me the strength to keep going and HE healed me. Thanks again. I will keep all of you in my prayers. You are a blessing!!! Susan

Way to go Susan! I love the part about having those priorities in order! That's so important.
I remember when you used to be a regular here. I was just thinking last week about some of the regulars whom we only hear from infrequently now and I miss hearing their news. It's a joy to hear how well you're doing and I wish you wonderful things as you begin your new life chapter. You're an inspiration!
Love, light and laughter,

Hi, my name is Susan ,too and it's been a year since my diagnosis, surgery, and chemo. Funny, I've just got my energy back and am not working. I joined a club (redhatsociety.com) that is a lot of fun. We don't talk about aches and pains;we just have fun. I forget I've even had cancer, except when I take a bath. But heck, things could be worse!!!
Congrats and stay cancer-free!!!!!

Hi my name is Audrey and Thanksgiving 2004 was my one year anniversary of my last chemo treatment. I was so looking forward to taste the turkey and all it's fixin's. I was looking forward to giving thanks on a thankful day. I and my family have much to be thankful for! After all the tests and treatments and countless hours or waiting and wondering. My journey is not over. I've only just begun to live. Thank you Lord, without you my family would not have survived. May God's blessings be with all survivors and their family's.0
