A couple friends told me about a fast that I use most of the day to curb my apatite starting in the morning. It consists of a mixture of maple syrup, lemon juice and water. It seems to provide me with enough energy to get me through most of the day. When I do eat later I stick to high protein, low fat foods such as soft to-fu (read lable for fat content and non-fat cottage cheese along with huge amounts of vegetables. I don't know whether this will work for you. Your body may feel like all it's doing is producing fat, but at some point if your intake is low enough and you are exercising your body cannot sustain the weight.0

This concerns me a little Paddy - do you think it's healthy? I've also had a terrible time losing weight, but I'm not sure I want to try anything quite so drastic. Also, my cancer was estrogen+ so I avoid soy. The jury still seems to be out on whether or not it's safe for those of us with hormone positive cancers. - Dianepaddy0214 said:A couple friends told me about a fast that I use most of the day to curb my apatite starting in the morning.
