silicone implants.

In Feb 2002 I was diagnoised with breast cancer and had silicone implants put in after treatment. About a year ago, I noticed that my own breast was not the same size it was a few months after surgery with the implants. My doctor feels that it might have a small leak and will be replacing in September. My problem is: about 8 months ago I started aching from my back to my knees, I have anxiety, no energy, just dont feel like myself, and doctors have run every test possible and all come back clear. I know there are side effects caused from silicone leaking and just want to know if anyone elsa has had this problem.Also looking for a web site that lists side effects that can occur from silicone leaking into the body.
Any information would be great.

    Hi Lori,
    I had silicone implants as well and mine started changing , had a ultrasound and saw where they were ruptured and yes I felt terrible, just plain sick, I also had aching in my body, The sun also bothered me at that time, so had them removed. Took awhile for me to start feeling better but I did. No one can tell me that the implants was not the cause of how I felt. That was 5 years ago. I have saline ones in now. I feel better.

    Becareful about implants they are not good .A friend of mine has been to Washington DC over implants because they can cause problems. Make sure your doctor keeps an eye on you .
