Been a long time..Update!!
It's been a long time since I have accessed this site. I started back to work last August (as a teacher) and just don't have the time I had anymore. Anyway..My little guy that I was pregnant with while dealing with breast cancer is now 2. His birthday was July 11th and he is great. There have been no problems with him and I just love him and his brother to death. As for me..I have been good. I am on Tamoxifen and haven't had any problems. Everything is just great so I just keep my faith that I stay healthy. Anyway..just thought I would let you all know that I am still alive and kicking and that Skylar is wonderful. I hope all of you are doing well. I will try and get on the site more. I missed chatting with you all.
Take care...
Angel

So glad to know of your good results, Angel - thanks for the update. I remember the days when you wrote of your treatments while pregnant. You were so brave and upbeat even with another little one already in your household and needing care.
I wish you continued good luck - your kids are lucky for such a good mother and also your students.
I am one of the old forum members and one of the 'old' ones in age too - soon to be 67 but a major recurrence has been a major setback. I will not complain tho' about life ending sooner than I had thought because many people do not get 66 or 67 years and i am grateful for the good years and good friends who have made life good.
I never married and so had no children - in my day that was the route- marriage and then children tho' I did think of adopting in my 30's. Having no brothers or sisters would not have been a good idea as I'm sure I would have been told.
Love to you and a big hug to your precious little ones.

Hey Angel!!!
Wow, it's so great to hear from you again. *grin* Glad to hear that you have your world under control... *wink* Been thinking of you often.
Dean & I are pregnant and due in October... remember how we had to let go of our first together due to the cancer? Then we were told it was unlikely we'd get pregnant after the chemo-induced menopause, etc.
This pregnancy has been smooth as silk and my own health has been very good. I was *just* starting to get some energy back 1.5 yrs after the chemo, now I'm tired again.. imagine. *laughing*
Be well Angel and keep in touch. Hugs to you and yours!

What a wonderful happy message! Thank you for making the time to let us all know. It is great to hear that all is well.
My birthday is July 11, too, and it is the best birthday Skylar could have! My nephew's baby daughter was just born on July 11th of this year, too.
Love,
