Hi guys--update from Stacy;
Just wanted to let you know that mom is finally home.She is slowly but surely getting her appetite back and she is wanting to get better a lot quicker than her body allows.I went over to see her today and the first thing she said as I hugged her was "I wanna go shopping".LOL, I told her in due time she will have such days.She is very week as anyone would be after going thru so much.She does still have to see the urologist in regards to her cath. still being in.They will run a series of tests and go from there.As far as the infections in her tummy---the doctors feel they got most of it and that mainly what is left inside is old blood and sludge from surgeries.Her fever was 98.8 today if I am remembering right, all I know is it is in a normal healthy range unlike the past so was very elated it was down.
She told me to tell everyone she so much appreciates all the prayers, cards,flowers, calls and visits that she has received and that as soon as her body and wounds allow her to get online once again she will be on to write you all and tell you personally.
I personally will take a minute and thank everyone for all the prayers etc. It meant and means a lot to me to know so many people care about my precious mother.She means the world to me and I know that if you know my mother , you know what a wonderfull person she is.
Thanks so much and God bless each and every one of you!
Love and Prayers, Stacy
PS--I thought I would type the whole email to you guys this time--hope you don't mind, kanga.
