Relay For Life!

Hi All! I'm doing The Relay For Life on June 4-5 in Dobbs Ferry, NY about 15 miles north of NYC.This will be my 4th year . We are looking for Survivors to join in the Opening Survivor Walk starting at 7PM. I was wondering if there are any ladies or gentlemen who are survivors of any type of cancer who are in or near this area who would like to join us. It's an amazing night.     Hi Cathy!
    I have been involved in the Relay for Life here in California for about 4 years -- it's a great event. I was part of the local breast cancer support group at the first Relay For Life I attended and they didn't require us to be on the track at all times because we were all in some phase of treatment, we were lucky to be awake, let alone make it around the track. Since that time, I've walked and stayed up all night and had a lot of fun and time for reflection. My favorite time to walk is after the luminaria are lit (lighted?) for the night and it's calm and quiet with the people that are walking being the only ones that are awake...it's so peaceful.
