Hi everyone! I used to be a regular here, and got busy doing other things. My 5-year anniversary is coming up soon and I wanted to share with those of you still in treatment how beautiful life is after you are done. When I was in the middle of chemo treatments, at times I wondered if my life would ever get back to normal. Well, it never returned back to normal. My life is 10 times better than it ever was before! I have a new appreciation for the little moments of happiness, I have discovered new things, new tastes, made new friends... That is all I wish for all of you! So hang in there, it will get better!
Have a great day, and big hugs to all of you!

Best wishes to you. Congratulations, too.
I have finished the treatments at end of Dec.2003 and going through the reconstruction process now. This is my 2nd diagnosis in 3 yrs.
Thanks for the encouragement. I know it will not be normal as I once knew my life from 1st dx to 2nd dx and anything before or in between. It is such a long treatment and recovery process that you wonder if it will ever be done and some type of routine will ever return.
I am looking forward to life being far better than before, as you say 10 times better.
Your words of encouragement have come at a perfect time and I THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
Take care.

Thank You! I'm just 5 days out of 3rd cycle of chemo (half-way done with chemo!!!). So, I really needed that! I'm actually looking forward to radiation, because it means chemo is over!!! Congratulations, and I look forward to my 5 years and every year in between! I'm already enjoying life more on my 2 weeks off of treatment.
Again, thanks for the good news!0
