Hi Ellen:
I read your post, and it said that you were being treated @ Sloan Kettering> I am too for OVCA stage 3a. iwas wondering who you doctor was, if you don't mind me asking and if you are satisfied w/ treatment? I am being seen by Dr. Hensley for my chemo, and I like her alot. I am glad to hear you are feeling well, and it sounds like you doctors are realy on top of what is going on! I am actually about to head over there for my third round of chemo (carbo/taxol)
Take good care

I'm actually being treated in Buffalo, but went to Sloan for another opinion. I saw Dr. Stephen Veach, and he was wonderful. He was very thorough and spent a lot of time with me, as did his nurse. It was a terrific experience, and I left feeling more hopeful than I have in a while. He also told me that they have clinical trials that I would be eligible for, but to give the new chemo a chance before I make any decisions. I thought that was great advice. If anything changes, I will definitely go back. Plus, it was fun to spend some time in NYC!0
