Hi Cathy,
I'm sorry to hear that you have a lesion on your hip, after 5 years. My husband had his kidney removed 6 years ago and June of '03, he had a skin lesion that was RCC. He also has lesions on his hip, spine, lung and brain. He was on a clinical trial at MD Anderson, of interferon, zometa, and thalomidine (sp?). We are returning to Houston March 9. I'll be praying for you.

Kathy, I'm sorry to hear about your problem. I am acutely aware of this because my father is dying of kidney cancer, and just started getting some lesions.
If anyone has some ideas for emotional support I could sure use it! My father used to weigh 205# now he weighs less than 140. Lost bowel control. I'm not sure what is keeping him here because of the way he suffers. Vomits all day. How do you cope with this as a caregiver?0
