Hi there,
I am 29, and was diagnosed in May with Kidney Cancer. It was a acidental finding. I had have of my kidney removed in June, and I am doing really well. Would love to talk to someone as well!0 -
My father has to have his kidney removed. He had a growth show up in an xray. He started out with bladder cancer originally. I am wondering if he has kidney cancer or bladder cancer or both? That is great that you are at your 1st anniversary. We are hoping for the same for him. Keep up the faith!0

Hi, I was told in Oct. 2001 that I had RCC and they removed my left kidney 3 weeks later. I go back now once a year for my check-up everything seems to be going good. But you have to keep faith. And do alot of praying. Your alot younger than me. I was 51 when they told me. So you have alot to live for. The same as I do. So take care and may God Bless you.0

I'm 33 years old and just had my right kidney removed for RCC. This is my 3rd primary cancer since I was 28. I'm looking to start a young survivor support group in Seattle - anyone interested, please email me at glennrockowitz@yahoo.com. Hang in there everyone!0

Hi RR. I was also diagnoised with kidney cancer feb 13 of 2003. I had my left kidney removed and some colon and lympnodes. Mine has spread tho. I went through immuno therapy/chemo. Where I go in for a week at a time. I did 4 months of that and in Feb they put a stent in my right kidney because the lympnodes are sqeezing it and keeping it from emptying. I hope I do as well as all of you have in recoving. I'm in a holding pattern right now until May. That's my next scan and to find out what the next move/treatment will be.

Same experience, same kidney, just over a year before you. No further treatment needed for now, but lots and LOTS of follow up.res06awq said:March 11, 2004 I a partial nefrectomy to remove a small tumor from my right kidney. No further treatment is required. I was just diagnosed this morning with a 2.2 cm tumor on right kidney. Looking at partial nefrectomy soon. Would be looking at opinions oin partial versus full. Thanks.res06awq said:March 11, 2004 I a partial nefrectomy to remove a small tumor from my right kidney. No further treatment is required. Looking for someone who has had a simular experience.

Hi Eduardo,
I was wondering if you noticed this post was from 11 years ago?
Just trying to be helpful. I have a feeling you may not have noticed it, but, of course, perhaps you did.
BTW, you can message a particular person by clicking on their profile, and then sending them a message. If they set up their email to tie it to their profile here, it will fire off an email telling them they have a message and they can come read it. In that way you can get in touch with other users that post here. Instead of posting and hoping they see the post...Because nobody is notified about posts or followup posts via email. This might be a better way to reach someone.
I wish your wife well.
Todd
