In July, 2002, I also was diagnosed with agressive large b cell lymphoma, stage 1. I didn't even know anything was wrong. I went in for my annual mammogram and it appeared in the right breast. I was told it was rare to appear that way. I underwent 6 rounds of CHOP only. So far, remission is going well. Best of luck to you.0

I was diagnosed with the same, but the mass was in my chest. I received 8 treatments of CHOP/R and I must say that Rituxan is pretty amazing. I am currently in remission.
Hang in there and keep your spirits high. The chemo does work!

That's great Shan! I haven't had Rituxin, only CHOP and after 6 rounds a Pet Scan revealed no residuals of CA. I debated on whether to try it as a preventative mantienance but after the chemo ordeal I was just so ready to be rid of doctors. So for now, I'm just hanging in there and doing well as far as I can tell. They say people with lymphoma can expect several re-occurances. Do you know of anyone who just experienced it once??? Maybe I'm wishful thinking but that would be great if it could happen.Stickboy said:I was diagnosed with the same, but the mass was in my chest. I had aggressive b cell large, stage 2. 6 rounds of chemo + rituxan + 25 rounds of radiation. Mine was in my chest. In remission, and doing fine.0

I was diagnosed with Large B call Non Hodgkins Lymphona in Aug. 2002. I took Rituxan and CHOP; 6 treatments of each. After 3 treatments I had a CT Scan and it was ALL GONE. I then had the last 3 treatments and CT Scan and PET Scan were all CLEAN. I am in what the doctor call complete remission. the first year I saw him every 2 months. Now it is 2-3 months.0

I was diagnosed with large, diffuse, aggressive b-cell NHL, stage 4, in January 2002. I had only 6 rounds of CHOP with Rituxan and am happy to say I am cancer free for 1.5 year! Never had the bumpy head symptom but sounds like you'll do just fine. Best to you and your continued health!bleebunny said:I was diagnosed with Large B call Non Hodgkins Lymphona in Aug. 2002. I was diagnosed with stage 1 aggressive diffuse large b cell lymphoma in 1996. My son was only 14 months old and I had been married just 2 years. I had a mass behind my breast bone that was cutting off the circulation of my cartoid artery. I had 8 rounds of CHOP and chose NOT,against my oncologist wishes to have radiation. I was told I had a 50/50 chance of surviving 5 years. My once 14 month old is now 9 and he has a little brother who is 18 months old. I was blessed with another child after being in chemo-induced menopause! WOW! I have never had a re-uccurence. It is hard to go through the treatments, but you are not alone! God Bless.bleebunny said:I was diagnosed with Large B call Non Hodgkins Lymphona in Aug. 2002. I took Rituxan and CHOP; 6 treatments of each. After 3 treatments I had a CT Scan and it was ALL GONE.
