Hi, I am 31 years old and my Dad who is 70 just found out he has this type of cancer. He discovered this in Sept. 2003 because he had a swollen lymph node, So in Dec 03 they did a needle bx and discovered this. He is scheduled for surgery march 15, 2004. The doctor told him that he will get many lymph nodes removed along with the jugular vein and muscle and may lose his ability to talk in one of his vocal cords. he will have to go through radiation after surgery. I am scared. What should I expect and how can I support my father?
