I feel like a wimp after reading all the trials of others in this club, but still, like Emily, nobody else really understands..
After Emily's good news, I'm really conflicted; the port was installed today without anesthesia-(see, I'm not a total wimp) and now I await the devil chemo monday. I want to cut and run, but where? Bud

I can appreciate the "cut and run" instinct - I tend to want to cut an run someplace warm, sunny and sandy myself. Whaddya say we hitch-hike to Maui... oh, wait... no highway to Maui... how about we hitch-hike to San Diego? We could stay with Monika and Bert - and in exchange for room and board we could teach Bert how to type! Lessons would, of course, have to be at night since we'd be at the beach all day showing off our battle scars. You know the SoCal chix dig 'em!

Geeez Sponge, don't you know that sun bathing causes cancer? Maybe we should all get together and start our own cancer center in Bali-or..? We could hire only staff that look like Emily.. right now I'm thinking up scar stories..

Many, you're docs must be nuts! They waited three weeks to access my port, that they put in under anasthesia, before administering chemo through it. Best of luck tomorrow, my prayers are with you...

Sponge, Nanuk, Kangatoo....all three of you would be welcome. Bert & I will throw out the welcome mat...besides, Bert could use some "manly men" dealing with this disease around him (hehe).

    Hugs,
    Monika
