Hi> My name is Kim, I live in Memphis, Tn. I lost my mother to breast cancer three years ago, and as I sit here and type this I still get choked up. There are so, many different stages that you are going to go through as you deal with his death. Even though its been three years it feels like it was yesterday. I promise it will get easier with time. Your best bet is to talk to someone about your Dad. It could be a close friend, someone from a church, or even a co-worker. Keeping your Dad's memory alive is the best medicine. My mother touched so many people while dealing with cancer, she was such a great witness for our father above. She left me a journal that she kept durning her illness that I will always cherish. You will have to take it one day at a time. There will be good and bad days. You will be having a great week and maybe your Dad's favorite song comes on the radio that sets you to tears. Talking to other love ones and close friends has helped me the most. And now, I getting involved with race for the cure as a volunteer. Eventually, volunteering can help you. I will keep you close to my heart and say a prayer for you and your family. It will take time, but you will get through it. God Bless.0
