A Turn For the Worse

Hi all,

FIL was rushed into emergency surgery and is in ICU. He was bleeding from the resection site internally. Not good.

Please keep praying. I appreciate it very much.!! Thanks!

    Bleeding from resection, mabe they can just fix it? What does it mean, that it came apart? Sorry I never came across it before and don't know what it means. I hope it will turn out okay, 2behealed. Tina

    We are holding vigil at his bedside. He is in a coma and kidneys are shutting down. The reason for the leakage is due to previous surgery on his stomach so I think this is not something the rest of need worry about for our resections. (one of my thoughts).

    THANK YOU for your prayers and thoughts. This is not how we thought it would play out at all. He's in pretty good shape for an older guy....cross country skiing and kayaking but like any good Canadian a hard smoking drinking man. :-)

    I am doing this at the hospital which is kinda cool to stay connected with one of my life lines--you all--here in another town. Ahhh. The internet.

    Emily-I am so very sad to hear of the difficulties your father in law is having.

    So sorry to hear about your father-in-law just be there and hold his hand and let him know that you love him. Take care of yourself and know that we all care.

    Sorry to hear about your Father In Law. Hope it all works out the way it is intended. Will be sending out a few extra prayers so that he can be comforted in the outcome.
