Anyone had weakness of the muscles during radiation? My arm is being radiated for a bone metastasis and it is soooo weak! I can't pick up a glass of water, this weekend I couldn't even lift my arm, and hurt my gosh it hurts. Any advice or similar experiences? Thankfull for any suggestions or just reassurance, :-) hummb.

I don't have any answers but was thinking maybe this is the result of radiation a second time - my onco said it is *Occasionally* done more than once but not usually.
What do your onco and/or radiologist say about it?
Hope by the time you read this you are feeling better.
I had my first herceptin Monday - was a nervous wreck over the weekend but it was easy.

Hard to predict anything with this rotten disease.

    Sending some gentle hugs,
    Jean

Oh Hummer, so sorry to hear that things are not going good for you. If anyone deserves the best it's you. The first time that I had radiation it whipped me really bad, I can't imagine going through it a second time. It was worse on me than my chemo. I don't know what to tell you except that we are all here for you. Hang in there.

Hummer, Forgot to ask you, have you tried or heard of Noni juice? My friend, Ben and his wife are both taking it and I am going to buy some tomorrow.

Our prayers are with you in this difficult and painful time. May God give you rest and peace as you beat this terrible cancer. Both my husband and I have had cancer in the last 18 months so are also praying for your brother. Be strong for each other. Linda

Thank you all for your kindness and prayers. I just absolutely love you ladies!
My arm is doing somewhat better, at least now I can pick up a glass of water. Just 5 more treatments to go, and glory to God, not a speck of skin changes. (Except where they tattooed me and keep drawing on me) LOL
Appreciate ALL the re-prayers I can get!
God bless. Love and ((((HUGS)))) hummb

It is 1 yr since chemo & radiation therapy. After bronchitis, I broke 2 ribs coughing. They are not healing like I feel they should, and the pain is terrible. Is this normal? Will my ribs always be able to break easily?
