I am so sorry you didn't write this sooner, I looked over some information I got on the web site, there is a settlement by law to all the people who took taxol, and maybe its all because of the side affects. The web page is (http://www.taxolsettlement.com), I got it from the CSN COMMUNITY MANAGER NEWSLETTER.0

I just read your other posting where you mentioned that you are dealing with recurrence. I don't want to alarm you but as others on this forum know, I do a lot of research. There is a metastatic condition seldom mentioned called choroidal mets and is in the eyes - first sign is blurring of vision - needs radiation. I would get a visit to the eye doctor as soon as possible. It's too bad but we seem to have to help all these docs even without our medical degree. Look up choroidal metastasis under google.com.
Hoping you will find it's just the taxol or age causing eye changes.

Are you on Tamoxifen? It can cause vision problems. Try not to think the worst, age alone could be the problem or if you wear glasses sometimes chemo really changes the percription.Prayers are with you. I have blood work Dec 1st and even that is a worry as all tests are. Done with the mammogram for a couple months take it all one step at a time. Have it carefully checked out. Linda0

This condition is typically seen in wide spread mets, but of course, bc can and does met to areas not considered typical.jeancmici said:I just read your other posting where you mentioned that you are dealing with recurrence. I wouldn't panic but get that eye exam. It is not unusual to experience some eye changes during and soon after chemo, which usually resolves.

Yes, count me in too. I also, know that going under general anethesia can cause temporary vision changes. I have really noticed it and am seeing my eye dr tomorrow. My other problem is the watering is still present and my eyelashes are not fully back after 5 months. Ugh! it is a frustration. I hope we all find a quick answer to get this under control. My prayers are with you. I'll write here tomorrow night if my dr has any great info or ideas. CandyDeeNY711 said:Obliva, I did have changes in vision during treatment, too.
