BC with mets

Anyone out there that has had stem-cell with mets? I was Dx in Mar97(i was 37 yrs old at the time & 2 girls only (6 & 8)-had chemo,L mod.rad mast,then autologu stem-cell.-radiand then tamoxifin and then was clear for about 4 yrs-then mets to plueral cavity & bone-then markers went back down to normal-continued maintance dose of hercerptin for a yr then almost 1 yr later it went to the brain-had full skull radi and then a gamma knife and that cleared from the brain,now its back in the plueral cavity--so back on chemo again. Just tired of all the damage its doing to my body--- I had and have great support from family and friends and community & prayers from all over.

    Sorry sweetie, sounds like you have had one heck of a battle. I have bone mets, got one growing again, but no stem cell transplant. I'm looking to God of course on this one as I've done all along, and alternative therapy, such as chinese herbs. God bless you!

    No mets here but lots of prayers for you for strength and perserverence. I will ask God to breath new fight into your soul. I am always AMAZED at what we, as breast cancer survivors, can endure- You are one amazing woman with a large group behind you. Right now, don't try to build up strength for the fight, lean on us and God; we'll hold you up for a while til you are ready to kick cancers' butt one mo time!
