jean, celebrex isn't an anti-depressive. I take it for pain. Unless you know something I don't know or I'm mixed up about. But I'm almost sure that celebrex is for pain. I can't tolerate zoloft either and want to try St. John's Wort too. My onc said I could but it's mild not strong as zoloft. I'll let you know how it goes. WHOOPS! Marie, thank you! You are soooo right about celebrex. The name is a close one - maybe celexa? -it's only been around a few years.marytres said:jean, celebrex isn't an anti-depressive. Celebrex and Vioxx for pain :-)
I did not like Zoloft - made me feel rather groggy and eventually gave me diarrhea which I read if you can get thru that, it stops. Forget it, I quit it. Also did not like Paxil for the same reason but have liked Prozac a lot.
Do you like Celebrex for pain. I've read several places they think it may have anti-cancer qualities. If so would be a good pain pill for all of us.

Hi Jean, yes I like Celebrex but like vioxx better. I used to take the first but now since my arthritis in my neck, I take vioxx and it's great. Good to the stomach too. Boy, by the looks of it, we're all in some kind of pain!!! God help us all. I also take celebrex when I have a headache etc. I have chronic gastritis so I have to be careful. Hugs and love to all, Mariejeancmici said:WHOOPS! Marie, thank you! You are soooo right about celebrex. The name is a close one - maybe celexa? -it's only been around a few years.
