arggggg just finished my year of interferon last January, but my dose was 30 mill 3x a week. I was told by 3 doctors before I started it that it wasn't technically chemotherapy, but was as rough as any chemotherapy out there, and it is. I ate very little, drank more water than a guppy and was still dehydrated, and lost 100#. While his symptoms are different than mine, try to let him know that they probably won't last. He's lucky they aren't making him deathly sick. Have him stick with it, because it's the best they have for Melanoma, sad as it seems. You can email me at sher82051@go.com if you would like to talk.
