check up

Hi just thought i would let everyone know i had my first check up on wensday 9-3-03 and so far i havent heard any bad news from the doc so iam taking that as a good sign that everything is ok for right know.Hope it keeps going that way.My Oncologist told me wensday that i have a one is 6 chance of getting breast cancer again.all i can do is hope that i never do.Iam thinking about starting too talk to someone about Reconstruction.hope everyone is doing well.Bunnie

    congrats on doing well.I had my last treatment on June 30,2003 and giving myself some time to heal a little.They started recon during my mastectomy with an expander,but it had to come out two weeks later due to major infection.Keep up the positive attitude.Teresa

    CONGRATULATIONS! Allright Bunnie, you go girl! For what it's worth, new stats, average risk for ANY woman to get breast cancer is now 1 in 8. You're just a little above average, but we knew that anyway, eh? LOL
