Iron Deficient Anemia with Arimidex??

I am having problems keeping my blood counts up. I didn't have to have chemo or radiation but do take Arimidex daily. My Iron levels, % Saturation levels as well as hemoglobin and MCV are all down and staying down. I took a 50 day course of Iron with no results, actually they went down a little. Anyone else experience this????? Beth

    did you have doc. check yuo for thalassimia (spelling) also knows as mediterranean anemia where any kind of iron will not make a difference

    I just started taking arimidex a week ago Tuesday and today I fell very tired, is this normal?

    Hi All
    After finishing my leukemia treatments, I developed hemochromatosis. Thats an blood iron metabolism disorder that keeps the iron in the body. While I had a high iron level, my energy was very low, also.
