My wife has been diagnosed with metastatic lung cancer. It is stage IV and has spread to her bones. She is undergoing chemo and radiation treatment. The pain is very bad.
I would like to hear from someone with a similar condition and maybe some helpful information. We are very desperate and need some help soon. Thank you very much.

Hello my name is Missy.
We found out in May that my dad has lung cancer, and like your wife it has spread to his bones.Dad also is in a great deal of pain, plus going threw chemo and was taking radiation treatments. So far the only way the doctor's have been able to control the pain is with high dosages of Morphin.
Mainly dad has his share of good and bad days, but lately he has more bad days then good ones.
We found out yesterday that his left shoulder blade bone is now dead.By any chance have you ever heard of this?
I am so sorry to hear about your wife and I will keep her in my prayers.
If you would like someone to talk to about this I am here.
This type of cancer is a horrible thig for the person to go threw and for the family to watch.

Hi my name is Pat.
I am so sorry to hear about your wife. I to had lung cancer that went to my right femur. It caused the bone to honey-comb and get hair-line fractures which was very painful. They did surgery and inserted rods to support the bone. This helped with the pain. I also had radiation and chemo. The radiation and chemo cause their own set of problems. My cancer also went to my liver. I am taking a pill called Iressa. I have been clean for about 6 months.
Don't give hope, or faith in God.
I'll keep you both in my prayers. God bless you
