Thank you for your thoughts!. She is in Dallas, TX at a cancer treatment center there. They have a sarcoma protocol. It is very rare for sarcoma to appear in the breast and more rare for it to appear in both breasts. They have a team concept and the team of oncologists will meet and discuss the best course of chemo and treatments and they should get back to her by Wednesday with the plan. She feels well taken care of there. It was a long way from Wyoming but seems to have been a good choice. Pain is starting to be an issue so they are aggressively treating the pain. A lot of reassurances that there is no need to suffer with pain.
As for the home front, we will all await her return and then step into take care mode. Suppers, calls, messages, flowers, support for her family ect.... She is a very special friend and I will do anything to help her and her family. It's the only thing I can do and helping does help to deal with the pain. Beth0 -
